A historic train station at a man-made oasis in the Mojave desert.
Kelso Depot is located in the Mojave National Preserve and now serves as their visitors center. It's closed for renovations until 2026, but it still might be worth the trip if you're in the general area.
Across the street is the former post office.
While not a Harvey House like El Garces, the Depot was constructed with the same concept. You can still see a lunch counter through the windows.
